App Store Screenshot Generator for iPhone, iPad and Android

Upload your app screenshots, add a headline, pick a background and a device frame. Download sharp PNGs in the sizes the App Store and Google Play ask for, all in one ZIP file.

No sign-up, no watermark. Made in your browser.

Your screenshots never leave your device. Everything is made in your browser, nothing is uploaded or saved.

  • Lead with the benefit

Most people only see the first two or three screenshots. Use them for what your app does best, in a few words: "Book a table in 10 seconds", not "Home screen".

  • One idea per screenshot

A short headline and one clear screen read better than a busy collage. Keep the text short and large enough to read on a phone.

  • Same style on every slide

One background, one frame and one font across all slides looks professional. Pick a style, then use "Apply style to all slides".

Questions

What screenshot sizes does the App Store need?

For iPhone, Apple asks for at least one screenshot for iPhones with Dynamic Island (medium display), for example 1206 × 2622 pixels, and accepts 1320 × 2868 for the largest iPhones. If your app runs on iPad you also need the 13-inch iPad size, 2064 × 2752. You can upload 1 to 10 screenshots per size, as PNG or JPEG without transparency. When your app looks the same on every size, Apple scales the largest one down for you.

What size are Google Play screenshots?

Google Play accepts JPEG or 24-bit PNG (no transparency), between 320 and 3840 pixels, and the long side can be at most twice the short side. You can add up to 8 per device type. To be shown in Google Play's large recommendation cards, add at least four portrait screenshots in 9:16, at least 1080 × 1920 pixels. This tool exports exactly that.

Are my screenshots uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser: the images are drawn on your device and the ZIP file is made there too. Nothing you upload or type is sent to a server or saved. We only count that the tool was used, with your country and the date.

Why does it say my screenshot is too small?

The tool never stretches the preview. Every size is drawn fresh from your original image. If your screenshot has fewer pixels than the space it fills in a size, it has to be enlarged, and it can look soft. Take the screenshot on a bigger phone or a simulator with a larger screen, or untick that size.

Is it really free? Is there a watermark?

It is free, with no sign-up and no watermark, and the images are yours to use in any store listing. The device frames are simple generic shapes drawn by the tool, not Apple or Google product images, so you can use them safely.
