What usually gets automated

  • Invoices and orders

Supplier invoices, purchase orders and customer orders read automatically and sent into Tally, Xero, your ERP or a spreadsheet.

  • Copy-paste between systems

Data that is typed twice (email → Excel → software) moved by a small integration instead of a person.

  • Reports and reminders

Daily sales reports, stock alerts, payment reminders and follow-ups sent on time, without anyone building them by hand.

An estimate, not a promise

The calculator multiplies the hours your team spends on manual work by what that time costs. Real projects also have running costs, need time to set up, and bring benefits that are harder to count: fewer mistakes, faster replies to customers and less stress at month end. A free call is the quickest way to get real numbers for your business.

Questions

How accurate is this estimate?

It is only as good as the numbers you enter. The maths is simple on purpose: hours saved × hourly cost. It does not include running costs, the time to set the system up, or extra benefits like fewer mistakes. Use it to see if automation is worth a closer look, not as a quote.

What kind of work can be automated?

Work that follows the same steps every time: typing invoices or orders into a system, copying data between Excel, email and your software, sending reminders, making daily reports, checking documents against a list. Work that needs judgement usually stays with people, with the boring parts done for them.

Why is 60% the default, and not 100%?

Very few tasks can be fully automated. There are always exceptions, unclear documents and checks that a person should do. Most projects remove 50–80% of the manual work, so 60% is a careful starting point. Change it if you know your process well.

Will automation replace my staff?

In most small businesses it does not. The same team handles more work, makes fewer mistakes and spends time on customers instead of copy-paste. It also means you need fewer new hires as you grow.

How much does an automation project cost?

It depends on how many systems are involved and how messy the data is. A single workflow is usually a few weeks of work. After a free call I send a fixed quote, so you can put the real number into this calculator and see the payback.
